PureLube was founded in 2024, inspired by the waste-to-value approach, aiming to transform cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) into a sustainable and high-quality lubricant.

Through extensive market research, the team identified the high costs of imported grease and the prevalence of low-quality alternatives, which fueled their drive for innovation. Over time, PureLube secured key partnerships, including collaborations with Kosmos Innovation Centre and Business Innovation and Incubation Center, UDS (BIIC-UDS), strengthening its foundation. The company later achieved certification from the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) and National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) and established strategic supply chain partnerships, ensuring product quality and market readiness.
