Hatchplus tackles these challenges by mitigating risk and lowering chick costs by 40% through advanced solar-powered egg hatching stations in an African context and accessible in rural areas. From our artificial intelligence model which uses computer vision to evaluate the fertility of eggs. to our deep learning software, Agroid, which delivers farming techniques and procedural guidelines to farmers through mobile notifications (SMS).smallholders have access to affordable, healthy chicks, while enjoying real-time assistance and support, accessible at any time and anywhere. Through its AI capabilities, the system swiftly provides guidance to farmers on critical matters such as animal treatment, medication, feeding procedures, outbreak warnings, and precautionary measures. We have a profound understanding of the low or nonexistent digital literacy among African smallholders. In response, our user-friendly system allows farmers to register their farms via SMS or a hotline call. Where a human assistant supports the farmer in registering their farm details.
