Kepya is an innovation hub for agribusinesses in the rural areas with a network of rural shops supported by an online platform. These shops, called Agriculture Services Centers (CSAs) offer an increasing range of products and services that the small holder farmers wouldn’t have access to in other ways. This allows them to better perform in their activities and to have a channel where to market their products in a trustful environment. Kepya also uses these shops as sandboxes for partner startups to create and test new services for this unreached target such as microfinance, tractor as a service, logistics and many others. In a country that has one of the lowest agricultural GDP per capita, being present in the countryside is a bold move. Kepya is not only supporting small holder farmers’ growth but also attracting young farmers who find all the support and resources they need to venture in farming.
