About CassVita

https://cassvita.com
CassVita is a social enterprise that leverages technology to eradicate food insecurity and to create prosperity for smallholder farmers. We have innovated on a novel biotechnology for increasing the shelf-life of cassava from 3 days to 18 months and a proprietary processing system for converting cassava into grain alternative products that we sell to food businesses.
By minimizing post-harvest loss, our biotechnological innovation gives us strong unit economics and enables us to offer cassava-based alternatives at a price that is competitive with wheat-based products. For our farmers, our innovations enable them to sell more of their harvest and gain access to global markets, consequently creating prosperity for them.
