As the countdown to the Africa Food Systems Forum 2025 begins, the energy behind the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition is reaching new heights. With Dakar, Senegal set to host this year’s forum from 31 August to 5 September, the spotlight is shifting towards young founders who are transforming local agricultural challenges into scalable, sustainable impact.

The Road to Dakar: What’s Next?

The Top 41 are now in the running to be selected as Top 24 semifinalists, who will be interviewed by a panel of Judges who will determine the Top 12 finalists who will travel to Dakar, Senegal where they will pitch live on stage in Dakar, Senegal during the annual Africa Food Systems Forum taking place 31 August to 5 September 2025.

The forum provides an unmatched opportunity for young agripreneurs to showcase their ventures to global leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators shaping the future of food in Africa and beyond.

Awards That Recognize Impact

💵 US$100,000 in Grand Prizes
Two grand prize winners — one female and one male — will each receive US$50,000 to boost their agribusiness growth and visibility.

🌍 US$60,000 in GoGettaz Impact Awards
In addition to the grand prizes, Impact Awards will recognize businesses excelling in:

  • Nutrition & Food Security
